UNIANDES GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS APPLICATION PROCESS
The registration process to our gradute programs can be either annual or semestral as defined by the program’s school. All our programs have a set of general requisites, presented in this site, and a set of specific requisites given by the program discipline. The applicant must review the program web site to understand and ensure the fulfillment of specific requisites. Aditionally, each program defines its own admission calendar, be sure to check the specific calendar on the program’s web site.

Online application form
The applicant must complete and send the online form within the application calendar defined for the graduate degree program in interest.
Uniandes application form doesn’t have any cost.
Beware, the form is disabled at 5:00 GMT-5 of the day scheduled for program’s registration closure.

Suplementary documentation
As defined in the Colombian Decrete 1001 of 2006, to be officially enrolled in a gradute program,
the aplicant must have finished undergraduate program studies and have earned the degree.
Applicant must upload the undergrate degree on our documentarion plataform. Aditionally,
applicant must upload official transcript of the earned degree and updated résumé.
Suplementary documents must be uploaded online before 11:50 p.m GMT-5 of the day scheduled for program’s registration closure.

Program specific requisites
Each graduate degree program may have specific requisites (eg. Interviews, tests, essays, video presentation).
The applicant must review the program web site in order to know, understand and fulfill the specific requisites of the program.
If you haven’t earned an undergraduate degree program, get in contact with the graduate program coordinators to review alternatives for your specific situation.

Undergraduate program degree
The aplicant must have finished undergraduate program studies and have earned the corresponding degree. Certificates of estimated graduation date are not accepted.
Résumé
You must upload your updated résumé so it reflects your current work experience, education, skills, organizational memberships, and achievements. Be sure to review the program web site to check for specific formatting requisites. Applicants to master degree programs must upload the résumé only if the program site requests it as an specific requisite.
Official transcript
We require a current official from each college or university from which you have earned an undergraduate degree.
Important information
- We only accept readeable documents that include the complete information of the applicant and the university or college from which they’re emmited.
- If the document is emmited by a non-colombian university or college the documents don’t have to be apostilled. For documents in languages different form english or spanish, the applicant must include and official translation to spanish.
- Digitally signed documents will be validated online during document revision.

Information for admitted applicants
Admissions decision and notification
The admission decision will be notified directly to the applicant by each program. Applicants must review the process calendar pusblished on each program web site. The formal admission in the University Academic System is executed once all programs have finished the candidates review process.
Foreign students
According to Colombian Decrete 0834 from 24th april of 2013 and resolution 6045 from 2nd of august of 2017,
all foreing students must have an student visa. Visa must be delivered to the register office or sent via email
to extranjerosuniandes-at-uniandes.edu.co in order to complete the tuition process.

Uniandes mail activation
Once the process of applicantions review is finished, admitted applicants that have never studied at Uniandes
before will receive and email from our Tecbhnology Office with the instructions to activate their new Uniandes email account.
With your Uniandes account you will be able to access the university academic and administrative systems.
